Job Summary
Description
These positions include a combination of processes to remove bones and cut meat into specified standards to be distributed to customers. Other positions include packaging trimmed and finalized product into bags for vacuum sealing and placing sealed product in correct boxes for distribution. Equipment used includes knives, saws, air knives, scales, and other machinery. The environment for this position is cold, under 40 F.

Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the workplace
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse work environment.
- Act responsibly as a member of a team and perform duties as directed by company leadership.
- Strictly adhere to established production work schedules, departmental goals, and expectations.
- Obey safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities.
- Must be able to work Saturdays when required
- Use of personal protective equipment
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
- Perform physical tasks which require upper body strength and constant repetitive movements.
- Stand on hard surfaces the entire shift
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift-up to 50lbs frequently, push and pull
- Ability to work in Cold or Hot areas 8 -10 hours a day.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
